1. A Profile of SKIALIGHT

An ideal Suneel Kumar International Academy student will:

• Accept eagerly the work assigned and face difficulties with courage.
• Engage in creative pursuits rather than being involved in idle gossip.
• Develop a sense of enquiry and research to enhance their learning.
• Imbibe good values, manners, and etiquette.
• Be ready to lend a helping hand at home as well as in the school.
• Always speak the truth.
• Always say "No" to wrong actions.
• Be respectful and courteous to fellow students, parents, guardians, teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Be kind towards others, remembering that cruelty is the trait of a bully, while kindness is the mark of a good person.
• Be proud of their school environment and report any damages they observe.
• Respect the liberty, rights, and personal space of others.
• Take pride in their school uniform and dress smartly at all times.
• Adopt the principle of simple living and high thinking.
• Contribute towards making the world a better place rather than lamenting over societal evils.

2. General School Rulers

• It is mandatory for every student to carry the almanac and identity card to school every day, without which they will not be allowed to enter the premises.
• Students must affix their colored passport-size photograph and provide required information in the almanac, duly signed by their parents.
• The medium of instruction is English, and students are expected to communicate in English at all times.
• Punctuality is essential at all times.
• No student is allowed to remain on campus or in classrooms after the last bell.
• Students must behave in an orderly manner in school and public places.
• Students will not be called from classrooms to answer phone calls except in emergencies.
• Parents or guardians may visit their child in school only with the Principal's permission.
• The school reserves the right to terminate the enrollment of a student with unexemplary conduct.
• Students escorted by domestic staff must submit an undertaking with a photograph of the nominated escort. Only approved escorts may pick up students.
• Unacceptable behavior, including irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, neglect of homework, disruptive behavior, or disrespectful conduct, will result in disciplinary action. Extreme cases may lead to suspension or expulsion after consulting parents.
• Social functions involving students, such as picnics or outings, require the Principal's approval. Unauthorized activities will lead to disciplinary action.
• Prevention of Abuse & Harassment: The school ensures a safe and respectful environment. Complaints about harassment or abuse should be reported immediately to the Head of School. Offenders may face expulsion following a disciplinary review.
• The school promotes environmental awareness. The use of plastic bags is strictly prohibited.
• Students are prohibited from bringing the following items:
  • Trinkets, jewelry, money, henna, or tattoos.
  • Objectionable literature or expensive stationery.
  • Expensive wristwatches, smart/digital watches, cell phones, iPods, CDs, DVDs, e-games, pen drives, portable HDDs, micro/SD cards, cameras, music players, or obscene materials.
  • Crackers, fireworks, firearms, or any flammable material.
  • Holi colors, gifts for distribution in school (e.g., for birthdays).
  • Toys, dangerous instruments, tobacco products, alcoholic drinks, chewing gum, or banned food items.
• Violations of these rules may result in suspension and confiscation of prohibited items.
• The school is not responsible for the loss of expensive prohibited items.
• For security:
  • Students should not buy or receive articles, gifts, or food from strangers en route to school.
  • Students must carry their personal belongings themselves. Guards will not deliver forgotten items like lunch boxes, books, notebooks or project work and musical instruments .
